Tomato Rice

STEPS

1. Wash the rice. Soak the rice at least 5-10 minutes & drain.

 

2. Heat the pan with butter/ghee. Then stir fry the saute
ingredients until fragrance.

 

3. Put in the rice, stir about 1-2 minutes. Then add in
tomato sauce, tomato, evaporated milk, pandan leave
and some salt.

 

4. Add in water and cook the rice as usual.

 

5. After cooked, sprinkle some fried onions when served.

RECOMMENDED RICE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of Basmathi Rice
  • 2 tomato (cut into cubes)
  • 2 cup of water
  • ½ cup of evaporated milk
  • 3 tablespoon of tomato sauce
  • 1 pandan leave
  • Salt
  • Fried Onions

Saute Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoon of butter / ghee
  • 2cm of cinamon
  • 1 coriander seed
  • 1 cardamon
  • 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • ¼ big onion (sliced)
